Mooring and unmooring services

• Port of HaminaKotka offers mooring, unmooring, transfer and haulage services for vessels at all harbours in Kotka and Hamina.
• This service is available 24/7.
• The service must be ordered at least two hours in advance from the Duty Officer of Traffic Services, tel. +358 (0)20 790 8840. Advance notifications by telephone or email to dutyofficer(at)haminakotka.fi
• The charge for the service is in accordance with the price list of the Port of HaminaKotka.

Water supply

• Port of HaminaKotka provides vessels with household water produced by Kymenlaakson Vesi Oy at the Kuivala artificial recharge plant, fulfilling the requirements of the EU directive 98/83/EC.
• This service is available 24/7.
• The service must be ordered from the Duty Officer of Traffic Services by email dutyofficer(at)haminakotka.fi.
• The service charge is in accordance with the price list of the Port of HaminaKotka.

Icebreaking service at the port

• In order to ensure round-the-year sea transport at the port, Port of HaminaKotka Ltd has found a reliable and secure service provider to take care of icebreaking at the port. Icebreaking is carried out on the water areas, shipping lanes, sides of quays, and turning and anchoring sites administered by Port of HaminaKotka Ltd.
• In order to secure the fluency of vessel traffic, icebreaking is carried out just before the port departure or arrival of a ship. The assistance of a vessel to the quay is not included in the icebreaking services.
• The tugs are on a standby of 1 hour from the order. The service provider is responsible for timely icebreaking in co-operation with the Port of HaminaKotka.
