Port of HaminaKotka Ltd arranged traditional information meetings for its customers and stakeholders in both Kotka and Hamina on 19 February. In the meetings, Markku Koskinen, Director, Traffic Operations, presented the current situation with the rail projects and the outlook of the port, and also described the impacts of the cruise traffic in the summer on the traffic arrangements at the Mussalo Terminal. Petra Cranston, Project Manager, Cruise Business, presented in more detail the cruise traffic at HaminaKotka in 2020 and 2021, and Security Technology Specialist Kim Kosunen described the access permit practices of the port. To conclude the events, Suvi-Tuuli Lappalainen, the recently-appointed Deputy Manager, Traffic and Safety, presented her job description and gave an account of the assessment of the Domino impacts updated at the end last year.
