A project meeting of the Eastern Baltic Hub project co-financed by the European Union was held in Kotka on 2 December 2019. The project aims to make the port increasingly efficient and safe so that calls at the port by larger ships and an efficient handling of growing container and bulk transport volumes could be secured. The project investments are part of the long-term development plan of the port. The meeting reviewed the action included in the project and its schedule, and it was stated that the project is progressing according to plan.
